January 2009 - HC Cameo on BBC Radio Merseyside

HC Recruitment were invited onto the prestigious BBC Radio Merseyside Breakfast Show to update listeners on our progress and advise work seekers in the area how to go about using the services of a reputable agency. Our Liverpool Office Branch Manager Louise Haggerty handled questions from popular presenter Tony Snell and outlined the progress HC Recruitment have made in the area in the 6 months since the branch opened.
Louise described how the process works for any work seekers who have not experienced the agency recruitment experience: "The service we offer is free of charge to the candidates. It is our commitment then to go away and speak to the companies we are currently recruiting for and best match the applicants to the positions available. We have a long list of high profile clients and keep in constant commication to both parties in order to assist a swift and efficient placement".
Tony was keen to find out how HC Recruitment had managed to get a branch 'off the ground' in times of a general economic downturn. Louise explained that it is working due to the personal desire to respond to a challenge and the solid infrastructure and ideals on which the company is based. "I have worked in the industry for over 5 years so have an excellent knowledge of how to operate at to a high standard. This, coupled with the support of the Directors to the venture - both in terms of allocating resources and daily advice - are the main reasons we are making this a success story despite the current climate".
Louise outlined the need for candidates to be realistic with their expectations should the job market continue to shrink but that there would always be placements for reliable, hard working individuals.
