October 2009 - HC Receive Training from UK Border Agency  

HC Recruitment are delighted to announce the successful completion of a “Forgery & Imposter Awareness Training" package conducted by the UK Border Agency Field Intelligence Officers.
 
The training was requested by HC Recruitment as part of our mission statement in particular our aim “to exceed our client’s expectations in service delivery, through continuous improvement, standards and performance” and to keep the HC Consultants updated on the latest methods being used by illegal workers to gain work in the local area.
 
The training focused firstly on what documents are acceptable for use as proof an individual can work in the UK and the relevant security featurescontained within these documents. The session also covered the increasing trend of imposters or candidates attempting to gain work using the official issued documents presented by a different person.
 
The Consultants are now equipped with this knowledge and are now in an even better position to filter out any suspect documents or applicants at interview stage to ensure that every worker who is placed into work has 100% compliance to employment regulations. This is great news for HC's existing client base and future customers. Details of the Employer Checking Service were discussed and plans are in place to incorporate the Unique Reference Number (URN) into HC application documents.
 
Strong links have been built with the Intelligence Unit UKBA, Manchester as Matt Cullen (Director) explains: "The Officers who conducted the training were first class.
