May 2009 - Local girl flies the flag for HC

Local girl Charmaine Foster proudly flew the flag for HC Recruitment at the prestigious Miss Manchester 2009 Final.

Ex-employee Charmaine needed a sponsor in order to compete and the team at HC were more than happy to oblige. The event was held at Palace Hotel, Manchester on 30th April. The contest was judged by a celebrity panel including model Caprice, Kym Marsh and Will Mellor with Man City's Brazilian superstar Robinho amongst the crowd.

Mike Rogers (General Manager) explains the reasoning behind the decision to fund Charmaine's efforts. "Charmaine was a valued member of staff and always gave 100% to everything that was asked of her. We have kept in contact and when the opportunity came about to support her we jumped at it."

Despite not winning on this occasion the evening was a huge success overall and Charmaine was pleased to have the assistance; "This isn't the first time HC Recruitment have sponsored me and I am extremely grateful for the support which I receive. The lads at HC are fantastic and being a Bury girl its great to have the support of a local company."
