April 2009 - New ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation Achieved
HC Recruitment are pleased to announce that a recent successful audit has resulted in the new ISO 9001:2008 standard being obtained. The previous ISO 9001:2000 has been held by HC Recruitment for the previous 3 years.
We decided to go for the ISO 9001 Quality Standard in 2006 as it matched our strategic positioning in the market place as a reputable labour provider to high profile blue-chip organisations, as Matt Cullen (Director) explains: "The ISO standard is important as it demonstrates our commitment to quality standards and best practice. It was becoming clear that to put us in the running for volume accounts we must invest in a standard which shows clients that we have an auditable operation. The first priority with many businesses is the need to protect the reputation of their brand, and choosing a labour provider can be a minefield with many unscrupulous agencies out there. We are proud to say that we have an 'open book' policy, our links with REC, GLA and ISO support this."
The audit was conducted by Mike Higginson from Centre for Assessment and in order to achieve the updated ISO 9001:2008 standard (which came into force Nov 2008) we had to demonstrate that the business is geared towards a commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
